Please be aware that all of our courses
have a September start date.
ALL COURSES ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY!
The application process is as follows:
 |
Your
application is received by our
office and is reviewed by a member
of academic staff. |
 |
You
are accepted onto an appropriate
course depending on your qualifications. |
 |
We
issue you a Provisional Acceptance
letter which accepts you onto
a course and informs you of how
to pay your deposit of 50% of
total tuition fees by either cheque
or bank transfer. |
 |
We receive your deposit (please inform us when this is sent), which is processed by our Finance Department. |
 |
Once your deposit has been processed we will issue you with a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) Statement, containing information that will assist you with your visa application. This will include a CAS reference number and our Sponsor Licence number. |
 |
You apply for your student visa. |
IMPORTANT CHANGES TO TIER 4 (GENERAL) STUDENT VISAS
If you wish to apply for a Tier 4 (General) Student Visa on or after 22nd February 2010, you must obtain a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). This is a unique online reference number issued to you by the University as your Tier 4 Licenced Sponsor.
Visa letters will not be accepted on or after this date and any applications using a visa letter will be refused.
If you have already been issued with a Visa Letter and will not be using it by 21st February, please contact the International Office to arrange for a CAS to be issued. |
|
Please be aware that this process
can take time. Please allow both yourself
and our office enough time for the
application process and the visa application
procedure. We appreciate your patience,
as our office can be quite busy due
to the high volume of applicants.
We look forward to receiving your
application. If you have any additional
questions, please email s.cavey@wigan-leigh.ac.uk
or call 0044 (0)1942 761166.
