Ashlie completed AS Levels after leaving school, and went on to work for a leading bookmaker as a cashier/manager. Ashlie wanted a new challenge and decided to return to College.

Ashlie says: ‘I wanted to go back to College, but after working full time I wasn’t sure I could manage without a wage. Then I heard about apprenticeships and thought this is the perfect choice for me. The great thing about apprenticeships is that you're earning whist gaining a qualification.’

Ashlie provides administration support for the Projects and Train to Gain teams. ‘My role is really varied and everyday is different. I also get to go out with the team and meet customers which is really interesting’.

Ashlie is hoping to continue her studies into Higher Education.
