What if I decide to apply for another course?
If you wish to apply for another course after you have sent in your application, there is no need to complete another form. Simply ring College Admissions on 01942 761605 and the team will be happy to discuss any changes or additions to your application.

What happens if I don't get the grades I need?
Don’t worry, at Wigan & Leigh College we have different levels of courses to suit everybody’s needs and abilities. Before we enrol you on a course we will check your GCSE results and ensure you are enrolled on the right level of course for you.

Is there a deadline for applications?
Wigan & Leigh College does not set a deadline for receiving applications. However, if you wish to be entered into the prize draw to win a an iPad, we need to receive your application form no later than 31 March 2012.

Will I need to pay?
Tuition and Awarding Body fees are FREE for all students, aged 16-18, undertaking a full-time or part-time Further Education course.

Do I get paid for coming to College?
You may be eligible for the FE Bursary Scheme. The College follows Guidelines in determining if you are eligible. For more info ring the helpline on 01942 761 111.

If I study a vocational course can I still go to University?
Yes. Check out our FE prospectus, see the ‘Where will this course lead me?’ section of our course information.

How many days do I study in College?
Every course is different but in general most full-time students study between 3 to 4 days a week.

How do to get to the College?
