Wigan Buildings
Wigan Bus Station is situated a few minutes
walk from Parson's Walk Campus and Wigan
School for the Arts. The new Pagefield Building
is only a further 10 minute walk away.
Wigan also has two Railway Stations, Wigan Wallgate and Wigan North Western. Both are within easy reach of the College buildings.
Leigh Buildings
Leigh Bus station is only a 7 minute walk from
The Image Centre and a 15 minute walk away
from Leigh Sixth Form College. A mini-bus
shuttle service operates from the bus station
to Leigh Sixth Form College every 20 minutes
from 8.15am until 9.30am.

Travel Passes
For Travel within the Greater Manchester area:
System One Travel Card
This weekly bus pass costs £14.25 and is available from your local PayPoint shop. The pass allows you to travel throughout Greater Manchester with any local bus company as many times a day as you like, 7 days a week, anytime up until 4am.
New customers must get a membership photocard from any TfGM Travelshop. If you are in full-time education & aged 16 to 26 you can buy this card but must show your college ID to get your System One "Student" photocard. Once you have your membership photocard you can renew at any PayPoint shop.
Scholar’s Concessionary Permit
This permit is for 16-19 year olds (extended to the end of the academic year in which the 19th birthday is reached) who attend an FE course. It can be used within the Greater Manchester area to travel at the current concessionary fare (which at the moment is 50% of the adult fare) on all eligible bus services.
This permit costs £5 and 2 passport photos will need to be provided. Permits can be purchased at college receptions during enrolment and until the end of September, after which they can be purchased at Bus Stations.

When purchased through college a 7 day Arriva pass will cost £12.50. This will be more expensive if purchased directly from Arriva. This pass allows travel on any Arriva bus within the designated North West area as many times a day as you like, 7 days a week.
