Family Learning is offered in schools, children's centres and community venues throughout the Wigan Borough. It enables mothers, fathers and carers to help their children and themselves to develop skills and confidence. The Informal atmosphere enables parents/carers to get to know each other and also become more involved in their child's school/children's centre.

Options available:

	Some of the programmes involve parents and children working together
	Parents/carers may be able to gain Adult Literacy or Numeracy qualifications
