Information Technology plays an integral role in all industries and therefore provides an interesting and rewarding career with progression opportunities.

The aim of OCRs ITQ qualification is to:
• Recognise the application of a range of IT user skills, knowledge and understanding
• Increase levels of skills in basic desktop technology
• Improve security management and IT support processes and tools

Apprenticeship Framework:
NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3
Functional Skills – NVQ 2: English & Maths Level 1
NVQ 3: English & Maths Level 2

A mandatory unit must be achieved at the level of the qualification:

• Improving productivity using IT Plus a range of optional units to suit your job role.
