Wigan & Leigh College has an
Accommodation and Student Welfare
service, available to all students.
Wigan Campus students do not need
an appointment to see the Accommodation
and Welfare Officer, though you may
arrange one if a confidential interview
is required. Leigh Campus students
do need to make an appointment.
Support and guidance on all aspects
of accommodation, including various
accommodation options is
available. Advice on individual benefit
claims will not be given, however
general information on benefits, finance,
housing and welfare will be offered.
Overseas students can discuss any
issue relating to accommodation and
welfare, including extension of student
visas and registration with doctors/dentists.
Information on the local mosque is
available from the International Office.
You may visit the Accommodation and
Welfare Officer in room 723, Parson's
Walk Campus
- Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm,
4.30pm on Friday.
