Additional learning support for students

The College welcomes learners with learning difficulties and disabilities. We try to make sure that students are on the right course and will succeed. You may feel that you will need some support with your learning when you come to College. If so, arrangements can be made for an interview with our Inclusive Learning Team. Assessment will be treated discreetly and in confidence. After the assessment you may be offered support.

This support will vary depending on the individual. You may get support from an Inclusive Learning Officer both in and outside the classroom. You may be loaned a laptop computer, a voice-activated recorder, a spellchecker, or a specialised piece of equipment. Special arrangements may be made for examinations and assignments.

The Inclusive Learning Team
The Inclusive Learning Team can be contacted at room 201, Parson's Walk Campus, Wigan.
Alternatively, if you would like to have an informal chat with one of our team call 01942 761887 or 01942 761849
