Wigan & Leigh College Bursary

All full-time undergraduate students on 2010/11 academic courses attracting the £2,260 fee will be entitled to an annual bursary of £566, irrespective of household income.

A first payment will be made in the Autumn term, and this will be followed by subsequent payments in the Spring term and in the Summer term in each year of study, subject to satisfactory attendance.

The bursary is in addition to any other financial support available to students. For a small number of courses where the tuition fees are received directly by the University awarding the degree, a tuition fee of £3,225 (09/10) will be charged and the appropriate University bursaries will be available.
