Higher Education Graduation Ceremony 2012

Higher education, management and professional students from Wigan & Leigh College recently celebrated their graduation in the impressive surroundings at Kilhey Court Hotel, Standish.

Proud family members, partners and children attended the prestigious ‘cap and gown’ ceremony where Chair of the College’s Governing Board, Richard Waterfield, presented the graduates with their awards. Graduates from across the disciplines of Business, Computing, Engineering, Graphic Design, Public Services, Teacher Education and Sport all received awards. Many professionals also received awards in counselling, health and safety and management.

Principal, Cath Hurst said, “The evening is about a celebration of our students' dedication and hard work that comes with studying at a higher level. Each student has something to be very proud of gaining a qualification that will enhance their future career plans.”
