Talented Wigan & Leigh College make up student Chelsea Spiller, age 16, from Leigh, recently entered the Jane Iredale Student Makeup competition held at the prestigious venue of London Art House, Islington, London.
This larger than life competition was judged by industry professionals, such as Alyn Waterman, make-up artist to the stars and the BBC series ‘Hustle’ , and Antonia Hawke, Chief Executive of the Pro Make-up shop who recognise up and coming talent in the UK.
This competition is in its third year and was open to all make up, hair and beauty students from across the UK. Chelsea was one of the final five finalists that had been selected from over 180 entrants. She received a memorable plaque and certificate for her wonderful design.
Tutor, Melanie Doyle said, “Chelsea got to work on her design with only one hour to complete the whole look, She deserved to be in the final five.”
