Sail away with Steiner

Wigan & Leigh College aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills and personal qualities needed to enter the professional business world. This week students studying Hair and Beauty at the College met Angela Vickery from the prestigious spa and salon cruise operator Steiner; who are the largest company offering spa treatments at sea operating in over 175 venues on land and at sea. Angela is the North of England Recruitment Manager, and has worked for the company for over 15 years. 

The students were given an insight into the industry and the employment opportunities available at Steiner.  Beauty tutor, Emma Bate said, “The College believes in the importance of building strong links with employers and the value this adds to our students experience with us.  Our aim is to make students as employable as they can be.”         

Angela commented, “The staff at the College are always extremely professional and supportive which is also conveyed through their students.”
