I started the course whilst teaching so the part-time option was ideal as it fitted in around work.I loved the course and the support I received from the tutors was invaluable. I wouldn’t be where I am today without undertaking the course and I have since been promoted to Advanced Teaching Practitioner alongside my lecturing role.
"Another highlight for me was having my final assignment published in UCLan’s ‘Through the Looking Glass’.”
The unique book includes a collection of 11 of the best research papers from 350 trainee teachers in 16 further education colleges across the North West. Through the Looking Glass contains articles by adult students on a Post Graduate Certificate in Education within 16 colleges that work in partnership with the university. The aim of the publication is to raise the profile of action research done by trainee teachers and give a boost to the role that research plays in the teaching and learning process.
