Hattie Kinder, 24, from Blackrod, is looking for a career change. With a background in fashion and photography becoming a hair stylist isn’t too far removed from her artistic roots.
Juggling her pub manager job with the Level 2 Technical Certificate in Hairdressing and her placement at Renaissance salon one day a week is a busy schedule, but one which she is willing to take on to follow her dream of becoming a salon owner.
“I want to be able to cover all aspects of the industry and do everything I can to open up more opportunities. The College has a great vibe to it. Coming back to do a course at College now I am a bit older is a bit bizarre but I’m really enjoying it.”
