  • Measuring work areas and setting out the first rows of bricks or blocks

  • Shaping and trimming bricks using hammers, chisels and power tools

To undertake works in connection with assisting a fully skilled plastering team, including all preparation work in providing a high standard service, setting up work areas and maintaining site cleanliness throughout duration of work. Supporting and shadowing lead plasterers in preparation and application of product, observing and learning.

This role is vital for the fully skilled plastering team to carry out their daily duties, the candidate needs to ensure that the ‘customer’ receives an effective courteous service at all times, to assist multi-skilled plasterers so that he is able to carry out plastering tasks effectively, setting up work areas and maintain site cleanliness, observing and learning the processes so that the lead plaster can carry out his service to the highest standard. Mixing up products, handling of tools that are required for the plasterers, moderately heavy manual lifting materials.

We are looking for new team member who wishes to learn all aspects of the joinery. Primarily working on the bench producing bespoke pieces.

The vacancy is for an apprentice bench hand joiner working in our busy workshop. You will be responsible for keeping a clean and tidy workspace.

You will then work along side members of staff to learn and help make bespoke products, working from detailed drawings to specification and deadlines. The candidate will report to the foreman on a daily basis.
