I currently teach on a range of Construction & Civil Engineering subjects including Level 3 and Level 4 Maths in Construction, Manufacturing Engineering Technologies and Structural Mechanics.

Before teaching my experience in industry included working for Balfour Beatty for 14 years as a Senior Site Engineer & Site Manager.

career highlights and achievements...

A career achievement for me was the expertise of commissioning a tilting plate seperator at Macclesfield & Harker for the National Grid as well as being selected to write Level 5 units for Pearson, who are the body that assess courses and qualifications.

inspiration...

I was inspired by Cecil Meadows, my tutor at the Manchester College of Building.

I studied a National Diploma in Building at Manchester College of Building and then progressed onto a BSc (Hons) in Building at Liverpool John Moores University.
