If you enjoy working with people, have good organisational skills and you are enthusiastic about travel, then one of our courses could be just what you are looking for. International travel and tourism is worth approximately £18 billion to the UK each year. It is big business. There are a wide range of career options to explore. Our courses will provide you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to pursue a career in this diverse sector. Are you a team player? Do you have good communications skills? Then this course has been designed to prepare you for employment as a member of air cabin crew. The role of an air cabin crew member is to provide excellent customer service to passengers ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the flight. They are trained to deal with security and emergency situations which may arise and can administer first aid to passengers.
Cabin Crew students will study airline and aviation operations, airline health, safety and security, airline emergency procedures, cabin crew room duties, role of cabin crew (on board), preparation for employment as air cabin crew, beverage services, personal presentation skills, plus essential skills in maths and English.
The course is continually assessed using a range of methods including coursework, exam, assignments, practical performance and written tests.
Full time for one academic year
A minimum of 5 GCSE subjects graded 9-3 or equivalent including maths or English.
Application for interview in the cabin crew industry and hopefully employment.
You will also need to purchase a uniform. To secure employment you need to be between 5'3 and 6'3, have no visible tattoos and must be over 18 years by the end of the course. If you are 16-18 years old, you may be eligible for our FREE bus pass.
