Advanced Welding Skills Level 3 Awards
Is this course for me?
This course and level is appropriate for students working in an engineering environment and have an intermediate knowledge and skills in the industry.
You will be able to demonstrate your competence in joining, welding, cutting or forming materials. There are three mandatory units around health and safety, interpreting engineering data and documentation and working efficiently and effectively in engineering plus other additional optional units.
Through competence based assessments.
Part time evening study for one academic year.
Through discussion with course tutors around prior industrial knowledge.
This may inspire you to join a full time course at college or explore one of our other evening classes in Engineering related disciplines or something new, the college delivers a wide range of evening provision across lots of different areas.
Safety boots and overalls will be required prior to the commencement of the course.
