This course will develop and improve your practical skills to become a successful team leader and improve morale. So whether you are hoping to progress to a team leading role, or want to know more about how to develop your current position, this course is the perfect place for you to start.
This qualification is aimed at those who wish to gain further skills to develop their careers and progress in the workplace. It is suitable for anyone who is new to a team leading role, or those who are hoping to become a team leader as they advance their careers.

• Improve communication with stakeholders.
This course is split into eight manageable units:
Unit 1: Principles of team leading
Unit 2: Understand business
Unit 3: Understand how to communicate work-related information
Unit 5: Understand customers
Unit 6: Understand how to deliver customer service and resolve problems
Unit 8: Understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues
Unit 12: Introduction to mentoring
Unit 13: Understand personal development
You will complete online platform-based questions — there are no exams and no grades.
To pass, you must show that you have met all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria set out in the qualification specification.
Our qualified assessors will give you detailed feedback, 1:1 support, and clear targets to help you succeed.
Support is available through the learning portal, email, or phone.
If your work doesn't meet the required standard, you will receive feedback, a new target date, and the chance to resubmit.
This course runs over 24 weeks and includes a recommended 160 guided learning hours (GLH). You can apply at any time, with flexible start dates available throughout the year.
There is no specific prior skill or knowledge required for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they have already achieved a level 1 health and social care-related qualification.
We recommend you already have at least a Level 1 in English (GCSE grade 3/D or equivalent).
