Is this course for me?

Access to HE Diplomas are well established, national qualifications which allow students without traditional Level 3 qualifications to apply for degree courses and enter university. The Business and Management route is for those who wish to progress on to degrees which will lead to careers in business and management. It is recommended that you research your preferred career pathway very carefully before starting your Level 3 studies.

What will I study?

The Access to HE Diploma in Business and Management covers units drawn from a range of topics including: Introduction to Marketing, Business Ethics, Economic Models & Concepts, Business Finance Planning, Recruitment and Selection, Employment Law as well as core Study Skills.

How long is the course?

Full time for one academic year. Three days per week

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is on going and developed through a portfolio of course work. A large proportion of your work will be essay or assignment based but you can also expect exams, presentations and project work.

What qualifications do I need?

You will need to have either GCSE English or GCSE Maths at Grade C or above as well as some evidence of recent study at Level 2.

What can I progress onto?

You can progress onto university to study a degree course in Business related subjects
