Is this course for me?

This is a introductory level of the AAT qualification, you should study for this qualification, if you wish to develop both your theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are needed to work in accounts assistant or progress to further study.

What will I study?

The AAT Foundation Stage accounts programme consists of: processing bookkeeping transactions, control accounts, journals and the banking system, basic costing and computerised accounting.

How long is the course?

1 year

How will I be assessed?

Every unit is assessed by an external online examination.

What qualifications do I need?

A level 2 - GCSE or equivalent in maths and English

What can I progress onto?

AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting

This is a one year, part-time course, covering four hours per week in class.
