Is this course for me?

This apprenticeship programme offers the opportunity to gain practical on the job experience and a chance to earn as you train.

What will I study?

As part of the apprenticeship programme you will learn how to improve facial skin conditions, shape and tint eyebrows, apply a range of make up looks, perform wax depilation treatments plus manicure and pedicure. All learners will study functional skills as part of the programme of study.

How long is the course?

You will attend College one day per week for one academic year with the remainder of your time in the workplace.

How will I be assessed?

Continual practical assessment plus written end tests.

What qualifications do I need?

Level 1 Beauty Therapy or 2 GCSEs at grade C or above preference to Maths and English.

What can I progress onto?

Full time work within the industry or an advanced apprenticeship programme.
