Is this course for me?

You will be studying a wide range of advanced beauty therapy treatments. You will need to be extremely motivated at both College and in the work place. Attendance and punctuality needs to be outstanding as the course is highly demanding. You will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills and also the ability to work as part of a team.

What will I study?

The apprenticeship includes a number of units including: health & safety, business studies, body massage, facial electrics, body electrics, electrical epilation, tanning and provide single eyelash extension treatment.

How long is the course?

You will attend College one day per week for one academic year with the remainder of your time in the workplace.

How will I be assessed?

Through practical assessment, exam and question and answer sessions. You will be assessed in both the work place and College.

What qualifications do I need?

You must be employed in the industry and have a minumum of 5 GCSEs graded 9-5 including English. If you don't currently have an employer and would like to undertake an apprenticeship, take a look at our vacancies at www.wigan

What can I progress onto?

Students may progress on to a Level 4 in Management and Advanced Techniques in Beauty Therapy or a Foundation Degree in Spa Management or employment.
