Is this course for me?

If you want to take your nail services career to the next level then this course is for you. Our Level 3 Nail Technology programme enables learners to further develop the knowledge and skills, professional expertise and supervisory skills from those gained at Level 2. This course provides nail technicians with the competitive edge in terms of quality, employability and professional standards.

What will I study?

This is an intensive course of study, the course content includes: Promote products and services, reception duties, apply and maintain nail enhancements, airbrush design, advanced nail art and enhance nails with electric file. As part of your programme of study you will participate in work experience to develop tour employability skills.

How long is the course?

Part time two evenings for one academic year.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through observation of practical skills, there are written test and oral questions to assess knowledge and assignment research for certain aspects of the course.11

What qualifications do I need?

Successful completion of Level 2 in the subject plus maths or English at grade C / 4.

What can I progress onto?

Employment within a beauty salon or specialist nail salon.

Course materials are essential for this programme, all learners will need to purchase an Image Centre uniform and nail kit.11A high attendance is essential for this course
