The world of business is dynamic and exciting, offering today's business undergraduates vast career opportunities. Human resources, logistics and marketing are just some of the industry sectors graduates can successfully progress into. The course is designed to develop student's commercial awareness through the examination of contemporary business issues, entrepreneurship, leadership and management.

What will I study?

This course includes units covering: Business and the Business Environment, Marketing Essentials, Human Resource Management, Management and Operations, Management Accounting, Managing a Successful Business Project, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management and Financial Accounting.

How will I be assessed?

This programme is assessed through a variety of methods including written assignments, reports, presentations and examinations.

What qualifications do I need?

A relevant level 3 qualification. Mature students with experience, a portfolio of work and employer references will be considered. Students must also possess a Grade C or above in Enghlish and GCSE or equivalent.

What can I progress onto?

Students may progress onto a HND and subsequently a BA (Hons) Business Degree.
