The world of business is dynamic and exciting, offering today's business undergraduates vast career opportunities. Human resources, logistics and marketing are just some of the industry sectors graduates can successfully progress into. The course is designed to develop student's commercial awareness through the examination of contemporary business issues, entrepreneurship, leadership and management. It is also designed to equip graduates with the skills required for the rapidly changing business environment.

What will I study?

This course includes units covering: Business and the Business Environment, Marketing Essentials, Human Resource Management, Management and Operations, Management Accounting, Managing a Successful Business Project, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, Financial Accounting, Organisational Behaviour, Business Strategy, Developing Individuals, Teams and Organisations, Brand Management, Planning for Growth and Consumer Behaviour and Insight.

How long is the course?

Full-time for two academic years.

How will I be assessed?

The programmes are assessed through a variety of methods, including written assignments, reports and presentations.

What qualifications do I need?

64 UCAS Tariff Points. Mature students with experience, a portfolio of work and employer references will be considered. Students must also possess a Grade C or above in English at GCSE or equivalent.

What can I progress onto?

Student have progressed onto the BA(Hons) Business Administration (Top-up) degree programme which is delivered in partnership with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
