Is this course for me?

If you want a rewarding career working in a childcare setting we have a number of routes for you to follow, including further study at university level. You will need to have a clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) to work in the childcare sector.

What will I study?

This course gives you an introduction to working in early years. It will give you the opportunity to develop your skills in communication, problem solving, team working and time management and is staffed by industry professional tutors who will help you to maximise your full potential.

How long is the course?

One morning a week for 16 weeks.

What qualifications do I need?

A minimum of a Grade D/3 in GCSE English.

What can I progress onto?

On successful completion of this course there are progression opportunities in adult groups of Early Years Educators or Teaching Assistants
