Is this course for me?

Working with children and young people can be challenging but extremely rewarding. This course is designed for those employed as apprentices in a childcare setting. The course is suitable for those aged 16 18 and adults.

What will I study?

The course comprises the Level 2 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Services, plus Functional Skills in Maths, English and ICT at Level 1. Students will also complete the Award in Employment Responsibilities & Rights in Health, Social Care or Children & Young People's Settings.

How long is the course?

The programme should take 12 months to complete.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will take place in the work place.

What qualifications do I need?

What can I progress onto?

You can progress onto the Early Years Level 3 Apprenticeship.
