If you seeking to gain a career in the engineering sector, including occupations and job roles such as mechanical engineer or electrical and/or electronic engineer. The qualification is suitable for adults who are interested in engineering technology and/or are considering a career change.

What will I study?

Subjects covered will include CNC, CAD, Engineering and environmental health and safety, Maintenance of mechanical systems, PLC's and Electronics

How will I be assessed?

Assessment methods include an externally set and assessed on-screen multiple choice examination for two units.

What qualifications do I need?

GCSE Grade 3 or equivalent in maths and English. However, learners must have the potential to achieve all aspects of the qualification. In particular, learners should be able to demonstrate that they have the minimum levels of literacy and numeracy requir
