Is this course for me?

This course provides an introduction to the essential skills of floristry. It provides the opportunity to develop skills in basic floristry through assembling designs.

What will I study?

Aimed at assistants in floristry related business and is designed to give you an insight into the basic skills needed for employment within the exciting floral industry at a junior level. You will develop the essential skills of floristry techniques and create simple well designed floral items.

How long is the course?

Full time for one academic year.

How will I be assessed?

Continuous practical and written assessment.

What qualifications do I need?

A minimum of 5 A*-E/F / 9-2 subjects or equivalent.

What can I progress onto?

Successful completion of the course will lead to progression onto a Level 2 Floristry qualification.

Other Information
