Is this course for me?

This course will support learners to develop their English literacy and numeracy skills required to progress towards a higher level of study.

What will I study?

During the course you will study subjects to include: Functional Skills English and maths, Follow instructions in the work place, Health and Safety procedures, Using ICT skills and equipment, Using number skills, Using Communication skills, Working with others,

How long is the course?

Full time for one academic year

How will I be assessed?

By completion of a portfolio that will be externally moderated.

What qualifications do I need?

No formal qualifications are required. Entry will be through interview.

What can I progress onto?

You can progress onto an Entry Level 2 course within ESOL

Other Information
