Is this course for me?

This is an introductory course for those adults who feel that they would like a career in Health & Social Care and is an introduction to the return to education.

What will I study?

The course is designed to support adults completing English & Maths qualifications alongside. Units taught include communication, services in Health and Social Care and supporting those with additional needs

How long is the course?

13 weeks

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is on going and developed through a portfolio of course work

What qualifications do I need?

No formal previous qualification are required.

What can I progress onto?

Progression onto Level 2 Working in the adult care sector or into employment

Other Information

You will receive support from a competent, approachable team of staff, who have experience in the Health or Social Care Sector. You will learn about values, interpersonal skills and the care needs of individuals; all of which are required to work in the Care Sector.
