Is this course for me?

This course is designed for those employed as apprentices in the health and social care sector.

What will I study?

The course comprises the Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care and Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Social Care. Students will also complete Employment Responsibilities and Rights and functional skills in Maths and English.

How long is the course?

The course runs for 12 months. Attendance at College is required one day per week.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment takes place in the workplace and by portfolio.

What qualifications do I need?

Relevant work based employment and Level 1 qualification or 2 GCSEs at grade C.

What can I progress onto?

Enhanced employment opportunities.
