Is this course for me?

A mixed programme of A Levels and a BTEC Level 3 qualification as an alternative route to university and degree apprenticeships for those who prefer a combination of coursework and exams.

What will I study?

Choose two A Levels from: Maths Chemistry Biology Sociology Psychology alongside the BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Applied Human Biology.

How long is the course?

Full time for two academic years.

How will I be assessed?

You will undertake external examinations and produce coursework.

What qualifications do I need?

A minimum of 6 GCSEs graded 9 - 5. If you wish to study A Level Maths or Science you will need a grade 6 at GCSE.

What can I progress onto?

Successful students will be able to apply for a place at a Russell Group Universities studying health related degrees. There are many career prospects in nursing, physiotherapy, midwifery or radiology.

Other Information
