What will I study?

Economics & Business A Level Professional Pathway will help you understand the nature and scope of business and financial functions, and the economic environment in which they exist.

You will study a suite of relevant A Levels. You will also benefit from the Academic Development Day which includes: Extended Project Qualification, a work placement, professional qualifications, charity work and optional group sessions.

You will study A levels in:

Business

Economics

Politics

+ a further AS Level in year 1

Following successful completion of the AS year, you may choose to continue to study all four subjects to A Level, or you may progress with three subjects and retain an AS qualification in one, which will contribute to your UCAS or higher apprenticeship applications.

How long is the course?

Full-time for two academic years

How will I be assessed?

Through exams and assessments.

What qualifications do I need?

8 GCSEs graded 9-5 of which a minimum of 4 GCSEs graded 9-6 (including English, Maths and Science)

What can I progress onto?

To a university degree or equivalent, or a higher apprenticeship in the economics or business sectors.
