This qualification is suitable for persons who seek to develop a career in HR Management & Development and are working in a field of HR management and development and need to extend their knowledge and skills. Also have responsibility for implementing HR policies and strategies and need to understand the role of HR in the wider organisational and environmental context.

What will I study?

The course covers a broad range of HR topics including: Developing yourself as an effective practitioner; considering business issues in the context of Human Resources; using information in Human Resources; resource and talent planning; improving organisational performance; employee engagement.

How long is the course?

One afternoon/evening per week over an academic year.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is by a mix of 6 assignments and activities during class time.

What qualifications do I need?

Entry is by tutor interview. The tutor will be pleased to discuss with individuals of the suitability of this programme for their development.
