Is this course for me?

The course is for you if you already have a Level 2 qualification in Painting and Decorating or relevant industrial experience.

What will I study?

The course is at a skilled level. By the time you complete the course you will be at a competent level in the subject. You will be able to hang wallpaper, use spraying equipment and carry out any painting tasks.

How long is the course?

Full time for one academic year.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by taking on going tests with a more comprehensive test at the end of programme. There is also practical testing of skills throughout the course.

What qualifications do I need?

Successful completion of Level 2 in the subject plus maths or English at grade C / 4.

What can I progress onto?

On successful completion of the course you will be able to demonstrate a high level of skill in the trade. You can progress on to employment or self employment.

Other Information
