Is this course for me?

Only learners employed in the trade of painting and decorating can access this provision as the NVQ part of the apprenticeship takes place in the workplace.You will be taught by professionals who have many years of experience in their field.

What will I study?

You will complete NVQ Level 2, a Level 2 Diploma and functional skills in English and Maths at Level 1.

How long is the course?

You will attend College one day per week for one academic year with the remainder of your time in the workplace.

How will I be assessed?

Practical assessment will take place at both the College and in the workplace. Theoretical knowledge will be via end of unit tests and portfolio building.

What qualifications do I need?

What can I progress onto?

Further study can lead to many opportunities in supervisory and managerial positions or the higher apprenticeship.
