Is this course for me?

This is a new and exciting course which has been specially designed for those students who are interested in sports development, coaching and fitness. Practical assessment includes leading, planning and heading sports activities.

What will I study?

You will study: Anatomy and Physiology for sport, Psychology for sport Performance, Planning & Leading Sports Activities, Business Skills in Sport, Fitness Testing and Training, Injuries in Sport, Planning and Running a Sport Event.

How long is the course?

Full time for one academic year

How will I be assessed?

Portfolio building, exams both practical & written and assessments

What qualifications do I need?

A minimum of 5 A*-D / 9-3 GCSE subjects including maths or English.

Sport Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma
