Is this course for me?

Are you a team player? Do you have good communications skills? Then this course has been designed to prepare you for employment as a member of air cabin crew. The role of an air cabin crew member is to provide excellent customer service to passengers ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the flight. They are trained to deal with security and emergency situations which may arise and can administer first aid to passengers.

What will I study?

You will study airline and aviation operations, airline health, safety and security, airline emergency procedures, cabin crew room duties, role of cabin crew (on board), preparation for employment as air cabin crew, beverage services, personal presentation skills plus essential functional skills in maths and English.

How long is the course?

Full time for one academic year.

How will I be assessed?

The course is continually assessed using a range of methods including coursework, assignments, practical performance and written tests.

What qualifications do I need?

A minimum of 5 A*-D / 9-3 GCSE subjects including maths or English.

What can I progress onto?

Application for interview in the cabin crew industry and hopefully employment.

Other Information

You will be expected to contribute £200 towards trips. You will also need to purchase a uniform. To secure employment you need to be between 5'2" and 6'9", have no visible tattoos and must be over 18 years by the end of the course.
