Wigan & Leigh College help thousands of people and businesses achieve their goals each year.  With an extensive range of courses, support services and fantastic facilities the College contributes significantly to the Wigan, Leigh and the surrounding area.

School links

Wigan & Leigh College believe passionately in the value of education and the need to engage with young people to raise their aspirations on further and higher education.  We are proud of the strong links we have built with local high schools and primary schools. Our wide range of curriculum and the knowledge and expertise of our staff allows us to work with schools to offer activities which extend beyond their normal daily curriculum.

Learning in the Community

Personal and Community Development Learning is learning for personal development, cultural enrichment, intellectual or creative stimulation, and enjoyment. It is also learning developed with local residents and others to build the skills, knowledge and understanding for social and community action.

Wigan & Leigh College will be offering a number of PCDL courses during 2012/13 and we also have excellent links with Schools and Community venues in the Wigan Borough. They too will be offering a range of courses from, Spanish for beginners, Basic IT and Digital Photography to Floristry, First Aid and Zumba.
