Using Eduroam at Wigan and Leigh College

Eduroam is a secure education roaming wireless (Wi-Fi) service for users in education. It provides both staff and learners with easy and secure wireless network access locally and when visiting other educational institutions which support the eduroam network.

Using eduroam, you don't need to type in your username and password every time you access the network. You only need to set up your device once, and then the device will connect automatically wherever the eduroam network is available.

How to Connect

1. Go to Wi-Fi settings and select 'eduroam'

2. When prompted, enter your Wigan and Leigh College username followed by @wigan-leigh.ac.uk. For example: username@wigan-leigh.ac.uk

3. Enter your network login password

For further information, please refer to the eduroam(UK) Acceptable Use Policy and the eduroam website.

If you are a Wigan and Leigh College learner and experience any issues when using Eduroam, please contact the Learning Resource Centre who will endeavor to assist.
