Each year, thousands of students achieve a higher qualification through a University Centre course at Wigan & Leigh College. This provides them with the opportunity to progress further within their career.

Beki Davis, a 22 year-old Senior Manufacturing Engineer at missiles and missile systems developer, MBDA, established her career within Engineering as an apprentice at 16.
Daniel started off on a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. After successfully achieving this qualification he progressed onto the HNC/HND Engineering course and is now completing his final year to achieve a BEng (Hons) in Engineering.
James completed his FdA Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching at our Centre of Sporting Excellence and is now working with the world renowned football club, Manchester United.
