Is this course for me?

This course is designed for those that have a good level of basic art skills and would like to develop these further.

What will I study?

The aim of the course is to develop a variety of intermediate skills across a range of 2D and 3D materials and processes. You will receive tuition to help you develop your skills and confidence in areas such as drawing, print making, collage, mixed media and ceramics. You develop further understanding in how to apply research methods into your practice whilst adhering to relevant health and safety guidelines.

20 weeks

How will I be assessed?

Project based assessment that will be externally moderated.

What qualifications do I need?

No formal entry requirements though we would recommend completing the NCFE Level 1 in Creative Craft course first to develop your basic skills.

What can I progress onto?

You could potentially progress onto the Art Foundation course for more intensive, full time study.
