Apprenticeships
Wigan & Leigh College is the largest College provider of apprenticeships in Greater Manchester. We offer over 50 different apprenticeship pathways to suit your ability. We work with over 1,500 employers in the local area and have a range of tutors that support the apprentices throughout their journey.
An apprenticeship means that you have a job that includes gaining recognised qualifications and essential skills whilst you are working and earning a wage. Apprenticeships provide a young person or adult with the skills, confidence, qualifications and knowledge to establish a career within their chosen industry.
Apprenticeships can take between one and four years to complete depending on the level of apprenticeship, the apprentices’ ability and the industry sector.
