Work Placement
As a full-time student you’ll carry out work experience as part of your study programme.
This is important as it develops the knowledge and skills you have learnt at college and improves your chances of gaining employment through vital hands-on experience.
We provide support to help you succeed in finding work placements. We’ll also make sure your workplace is a safe environment where you can gain an insight into the world of work.
A work placement will give you the opportunity to:
- get a real insight into the industry and the areas of work you enjoy and putting your classroom knowledge into practice in a real work environment
- develop the key skills for your career choice and develop your confidence
- develop your work readiness skills and professional behaviours
- discover new talents
- add experience to your CV and make new contacts for the future.
