A Day in the Life
Your timetable at college will be unique to the course you are studying and will also depend on whether you’re also studying for maths and/or English GCSE. However, the college day starts at 9am and classes finish at 4.30pm. Many students come in earlier, as we offer a FREE breakfast to all 16 to 18-year-olds, and this is served from 8.15am each day.
You’ll be given your timetable at enrolment, so you’ll know what days you need to attend college and what lessons are taking place. You’ll have a study day on your timetable. This is time set aside for you to:
- Attend enrichment and work ready activities.
- Get online with careers platforms, National Online Safety and Blended Learning Consortium platforms.
- Practice, revise, reflect and be creative.
- Complete coursework.
- Attend work placements.
- Take part in Duke of Edinburgh or IDEA programmes.
- Run your own club or group and join in with existing ones.
