As the lead partner in the Greater Manchester Institute of Technology (GMIoT), we’re proud to be working with prominent national and global employers, alongside the University of Salford, to bring you the best higher technical education and qualifications.
We provide top-up degrees, Higher National Certificates/Diplomas, Higher Technical Qualifications, post-graduate certificates and higher professional awards, higher and degree apprenticeships, and Access to Higher Education Diplomas to prepare you for undergraduate study.
Degrees, Foundation Degrees and Teaching qualifications are awarded by the University of Lancashire and the Higher National (HND and HNC) courses in partnership with Pearson Edexcel.
Our programmes are crafted to develop qualities which are sought after in industry, from employability and problem-solving skills to communication and team working. Many include work placements, so you’ll gain real-life industry experience and have a CV to be proud of when you graduate.

As a partner college our Foundation Degrees, Top-up Degrees and Teacher Education programmes are approved and awarded by University of Lancashire. This means that you can access the clubs, services and facilities (including library, social venues and the Students’ Union) of both institutions.
