Step by step guide

Currently at college?

1. Call into FAB Futures for advice and guidance on completing an application form, creating a CV and developing your employability skills.
2. Our team will help you to assess whether you’re ready for work, apply for current vacancies and add you to our talent pool.
3. Once you are part of our talent pool, we’ll match you to current vacancies and support you in the interview process.
4. We can also refer you to other sources to apply for apprenticeship vacancies

Still at school?

1. Find out about apprenticeships from your school careers advisor or look around our website.
2. Complete an application form.
3. You’ll have an interview with our admissions team possibly at school.
4. We’ll need you to send us your CV to help you find employment through our apprenticeship vacancies.  You can send your CV to apprenticeships@wigan-leigh.ac.uk
5. Once you have secured employment, we’ll work with you and your employer to sign you up as an apprentice.

Already employed?

1. Call the Employer Engagement team on 01942 761851 and they’ll work with you and your employer to sign you up as an apprentice.
