Mix of theory and practical training in solar installation covering design, installation and maintenance of solar PV systems.

How will I be assessed?

2 x Multi-choice question Paper 1: 1 hour 30 minutes

Short Written Paper 2: 1 hour

Practical Assessment: 3 hours

What qualifications do I need?

In order to be eligible for this course you must meet one of the following requirements:



N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures) and BS 7671: 2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) qualification.

Or

Equivalent historical qualifications

Or

ECS Gold Card, JIB Electrician or Approved Electrician Card

Stand-alone technical certificates/vocationally related qualifications (VRQ) (non-competency based) are NOT acceptable.
